The winner of the COTW-December vote was Avi!

Full Results
This gives Avi all three entries into the 4th Quarter Vote! Coincidentally, Matt M. also was involved in all three entries in the 2nd Quarter Vote, which his Roadrunners concept won, and will face-off against Avi's Quarter Vote winning concept.

The winner of the first COTW vote of 2017 was Jake M!

Jake won with a tremendous Pittsburgh Penguins Stadium Series concept. The logo with the P and a triangle with the 67 combined well with the yellow and black jersey. The end result was a unique Stadium Series look.

--------------------------------------

The winner of the Bring Back the Americans Competition was JJ!

JJ's entry was one of the last we received, which may go to show that taking the whole week to complete and perfect your entry can be a wise choice. JJ's entry moves into this week's COTW vote with the win.

Avi has owned the major COTW votes here on HJC since September. He won every monthly vote from September to December and the 3rd Quarter Vote as well. Now he will have another concept in the COTY Semi-Finals, but us readers get to choose which one. The poll is the vintage white one on the side of the page. You can see the concepts in the poll or click the link. Votes will be counted up until Friday @ noon Eastern time.

The COTW nominees have been listed in the black poll on the side of the page. To see a larger version of the nominated concepts please click the link in the poll. Votes will be counted up until Friday at noon Eastern.

You must be logged into a Google account for the polls to appear on the side of the page.

A new competition has begun here on HJC. This week we'll be giving the Toronto Maple Leafs a 3rd jersey. Considering Lou Lamoriello never wanted the Devils to have an alternate jersey, and there will be no alternate jerseys next season, I don't think a Maple Leafs alternate will be seen for a very long time. This competition allows you to change that! Send your entries to the competition email. They are due by noon Eastern time on Friday.

There will be another simple competition after the Maple Leafs one. After that we will begin the 2017 Pairs Competition! You and a partner will team up to create an All-Star Game. Don't get too ahead of yourselves now. However, you will be required to create a logo for the game and at least one jersey. I will publish the full rules closer to the competition. You will have 21 days to complete the project. Yes, this competition is THAT big!

Now would be a good time to start pairing up though. I've created a page where you can leave a way for someone to contact you if they want to pair up. Once you've paired with someone leave another message on the page saying that you have paired with someone.

Anyways, here is the schedule of competition which will take us through to mid-March.

Friday, January 13-20 - TOR 3rd Comp - (ENTRY PHASE)
Friday, January 20-27 - TOR 3rd Comp - (VOTING PHASE)

March 6 - Pairs Presentations Begin

--------------------------------------

4th Quarter Vote (ends Friday @ noon ET)
