Today is the last day to vote for COTW on the left side of the page. Be sure to vote if you haven't already.

Also, voting for the HJC Open is still happening on the HJC OPEN page. That voting runs until Saturday @ 6:59pm EST.

Some of you might have seen the possible Islanders jersey leak at Icethetics. If not, here it is.I sincerely hope that this is NOT the new 3rd jersey. To me, it just looks like a bunch of different elements thrown together for no reason. There's nothing on this that makes me say "ooh" or "wow".

Anaheim Ducks concept (by Cody)
Hamilton Tigers concept (by Martin)
Montreal Roadrunners roller hockey concept (by WinnipegJets96)
Colorado Avalanche concepts (by Lachlan)People still want to see the pre-Edge design return. Reebok would probably tell you that it can't do it (a la Dallas Stars old jersey). HJC readers would know that I am in favour of the Avs getting a complete overhaul.

Columbus Blue Jackets concepts (by Jonathan)Jonathan has added an actual union soldier to the Jackets' 3rd jersey and created a matching white sweater. The font on the back could use improvement here. Also, a team named the BLUE Jackets probably shouldn't wear a red jersey.

Columbus Blue Jackets concepts (by Arthur)I wish there was more consistency between these jerseys. I actually like the blue sweater and I appreciate that Arthur tried to do something a little different with these. Maybe a little more red trim on the white jersey would help it?

Ottawa Senators concepts (by Arthur)Another one by Arthur here and these one's I am a big fan of. The home and road at least. The 3rd could use a touch more life. This is a really nice mix of Edge and pre-Edge!

Edmonton Oilers concepts (by Kalin)Kalin uses the curved Edge hem to his advantage here as the Oilers wordmark goes quite well with it. I'm probably in the minority in saying this but, I'd be cool with the Oilers using this orange jersey as an alternate. I give this a COTW nomination.

Remember, buy a t-shirt!

Kudos to Jets96 for the Roadrunners set . . . RHI could use a makeover for many of their jerseys. Stampede forever, thanks 1994 - Go Wings!

The Oilers jerseys are awesome. Especially the Orange. Would be nice to see some teams go with a sublimated jersey instead of a patch and pull some designs off like that one.

@andrew: email me. We'll try and work something out

Reebok also said they couldn't do a barberpole jersey for the Ottawa 67s but they can now. They can probably return the Avs to their old look.

@ryan and Andrew,

Andrew, assuming that you have cash you can just go and buy a visa gift card and use that to purchase stuff online. Ryan, may know more about it than I do but that seems like a reasonable idea and should work. :)
