Today's concepts have no theme or tie-ins. They just are a bunch of concepts!
Ottawa Senators concept (by Ryan)I just thought of the info regarding the new 3rd jersey, that it's not a complete barberpole, and used it on their current "Made by Reebok" template. I don't think it turned out too bad.
New York Islanders concept (by Dylan)It's the return of the fishsticks. I think if the Isles were to introduce another fishsticks jersey and accept it as such, people would buy it.
New York Islanders concept (by Mason)Another route for the Isles is an orange jersey. Can they be like Mason and do it right?
Calgary Flames concept (by Andrew)Andrew has put the popular horse head logo on the front as the main crest and he's used the Nike Swift template. I may be in the minority but, I think that logo belongs on the shoulder.
Winnipeg Jets concepts (by Andy)Andy sent in a bunch of Jets concepts. A couple on the right which are retro ideas. The jerseys on the left have a nice look and use the old Houston Aeros logo. Andy also found that other logo on his computer and thought it'd be a good start for a Jets logo. Anyone know where it's from?
Dallas Stars concept (by Spirit104)I think this has potential with a few tweaks. I'd like to see the Stars logo on the front and/or some stars all the way down the sleeve.
Windsor Spitifres concept (by Tex)I always love non-NHL concepts. Tex has done a great job here with this Spitfires jersey. It's a nice update on their jerseys of the 70's and 80's.
Nashville Predators concept (by Brian)Brian gives us a little fauxback Predators jersey here. I like it but, maybe the yellow should be a little darker to give it that "worn wool" look?
That's what I got for you today. What does everyone think of the new COTW voting? Next week it'll look a bit more like it belongs on this site. Also, keep voting for those Pens ReDesigns, the response has been really good so far! Both the COTW and Pens voting is very close.
We're going to have to change the way we nominate concepts for COTW.
Email me your ideas!
